give me information on cold wave. How it effects black hair. The best way to wear it natural, but still look shiny and soft.

What perm do you recommend that will last the longest? I am really tired of getting a perm at least every two months. Have short hair with lots of gray in it, am 75. [Jackie, 4-Nov-2008]
