How to Care Damaged, weak Hair?

I had to cut my hair short because it was badly damaged weak, how do I take care of it so that it can grow long and how can i style it. *(Its short in the front (real short) and lips length in the back) [ Peian 05-Feb-2007 20:30 ]

When ever i get out of the bath or shower and dry my hair it look really damaged and i tend to use the Straighteners mostly all the time but it just keeps on doing the same thing and not helping what do you think i should do if i have burned or damaged hair? [Carrie 19-Aug-2007]

hi, my hairs are damaged and i was very serious about it!!!! so my mother told me that dnt apply any thing made up of chemicals thhey don't help but cause side effects, apply natural things like mehndi ,olive,coconut and mustard oil they can help you naturally..the most good and easy way of making your hair live, strong and shiny is to be patient while using any treatment.thanks plz do obbey my advices it really helps...........

I also have the same problem I over bleached my hair and now it's a disaster,I used every thing and spent a lot of money untill I descoverd the miracle (sneak oil) you will never beileve me unless you try it urself my hair is getting thicker and taller and I'm soooo happy,I feel you girls believe me u must try this miracle, good luck

hiya all i had really dry haire it was coming out spliting really bad. i bleached it four times in two days. i no really bad. i have triyed loads of products. and the best thing and it really does work is........ COCUNUT OIL. it's fab. my haire is supper soft and strong i leave it in all night and it really helps. my haire hasn't snapped since. god things we do to have our dream colour haire lol. i hope this helps. but i would say use it.x

maybe we should get it to a hair expert of the sunsilk or put another shampoo like head 'n'shoulders or fiama 'di wills'shampoo or go to the saloon to cut split ends and kill dandruff!

In my opinion, the best thing to do is go to a salon that sells Kerastase. They have "in-salon" treatments that are amazing. Also, start using the Kerastase Resistance shampoo for weakened hair. Follow it with the Resistance Age Recharge Conditioner. I also mix this with the Nutritive, Nutridefense Conditioner. Try leaving the conditioners on for at least an hour before rinsing. Rinse with cool water. I didn't think there was much hope for my hair until I started this regimen. By all means, do not brush your hair! I've heard a boar bristle brush is good for the hair but I am holding off even on that until my hair is back in optimal shape. If you have long hair, wear it up in a pony tail as much as possible to prevent further damage.. .especially on windy days. Get a satin pillow case and don't wash your hair every day. If you get tangles in your hair, get them out with your fingers and not with a brush or comb. Scalp massages and B-complex vitamins are good to stimulate growth.

For dry hair use pure olive or coconut oil from the ear point down to the ends once per week. Leave it in your hair for a few hours. As an added bonus, put on a bath cap and stand in a hot steamy shower or hold a hot hair dryer over it to allow the oils to really penetrate. To address brittle hair that is falling out, add an all-natural, organic shampoo to your regimen. SHampoos can be very harsh and stripping, causing hair to weaken and fall out. I like Jason's Natural Biotin Shampoo. Be careful with PROTEIN-BASED products -- while they do strengthen hair, they can be VERY drying. Use them sparingly - once every week or 2 weeks. Make sure you're taking a good multi-vitamin with biotin AND take an omega-3 supplement. Give it time and your hair will grow fast and be healthy. Good luck

My hair is totally damaged.every hair is divided into 2 or 3 parts and iam totally confused what i will do.actually i cut my hair 4-5 times in a year.and there is also dandruff problem and also hair loss problem please tell me what i will do and now i am also pragnent and i am waiting for your result.

olive oil is great for your hair if it is dry. cover hair in olive oil for one to two hours then wash and condition and you will see a huge difference. it will be alot softer shinier and even healthier.

you can mix 2 lemons, one egg and some coconut oil according to your hair length. Apply on hair and keep for 2 hours . It gives shiny hair and hair fall stops. It works. Try it .

Hi there, wash hair with paste made out of shoeflower leaves and avoid shampoo and you can see the difference which comes out real shiny and smooth.use only for dry hair (you cant use it when your hair is oiled).

My friend and i have bleached our hair nearly every month for the past year and we started to notice how thing and fragile our hair was getting, and it was snapping off and felt rough. we started to use Aussie 3 minute miracle treatments, and also apply face moisturizer to our hair and cut out straightening. a month onwards and our hair is gaining thickness and feels so much healthier. so try using a face moisturizer like nivea on your hair overnight and you will see the difference!

Circulation to your head helps hair grow long. if you massage your head daily it brings the blood to your head which s circulation and helps it grow...(i read this in a seventeen magazine)

Hi.... I have dry damaged hair. I have been adviced to use Himalaya's protein shampoo for dry and damaged hair & Conditioner.. Is this treatment will do good?? Or its only money making business?? Is Mehandi advisable for my hair??
