How to Fix Permed short, Curly Hair?

How should i fix perm short hair for the opening of school? [ Brittany 29-Aug-2007]

I have an slim face, am 63 have always worn permed curly hair.  Would like to stop perming but my hair grows forward towards my face & have no idea what hair style works for this problem. In a addition I have a Streisand nose.  My hair is currently short.  Help! [ Anne Walker 29-Aug-2007]

There are many solutions to fix perming or frizzy hair problem. Ask your hairstylist for a shorter haircut that will help to manage the perms. Try a blow dryer and invest in a good hair conditioning treatment.

A bad perm can be a result of improper chemical application, rollers not being rolled properly or the application being left into long or having dry hair. To repair dry hair, a daily or weekly conditioner will help restore and moisturize damaged hair. You may have to return to the stylist if the application was applied incorrect. If the damage is not treatable at home, the stylist can cut off the affected areas. Avoid putting any additional heat to your hair like flat irons and blow driers, because they can add more damage to the hair.
