Can I go back to my original color immediately?

I recently has my hair dyed and I hate the color on my face. Can I go back to my original color immediately? [Romana 16-Mar-2008]

You should wait at least 2 week before another permanent hair color treatment is done. Go to a professional to correct that color. The bleaching process you have already undergone has lifted most if not all of your natural hue. In addition, the chemical color treatment has increased the porosity of your hair. For these reasons, most professional colorists as well as color manufacturers would probably recommend treating the hair with a color filler prior to any additional applications. The new color can be one to two shades lighter than your hair's natural hue, because if your hair has been lightened for some time, going to your original true color will seem a lot darker than you may remember it. It's safer to go a bit lighter for the best overall effect.
