I have a very long, narrow face with a long nose and the only hairstyle I have ever found to look good is a shaggy Meg Ryan cut just below the shoulders with a side swept fringe. I'm thinking of going back to that now, although the advice above suggests otherwise!

I am considering cutting my hair super short think Audrey Hepburn in Roman holiday. I have a very narrow and long face. I have had bangs for years and will have them in my grave, they're not going anywhere. I have very thick hair with waves below my ears. I am also 5'7" and a size 2. I am afraid that I will look a bit like a pinhead or that it would just not flatter me at all. Any suggestions before I take the plunge? [Sophia, 7-July-2009]
