what i can do to help my hair be strong and healthy like before?

Ok hey
I have a problem. I have mixed hair (because I am half white and half black) so it is a mix of coarse and soft at the same time. I ended up taking care of my own hair..but little did I know I would mess it up. It is over processed and I used to use over excessive amounts of gel and jam* on my hair. I realized my hair was beginning to become very weak and more fragile than ever! It cannot hold up to even a single comb through without a lot of hair coming out! I am 14 and I would like to know what i can do to help my hair be strong and healthy like before! Can you please help me out?! Thanks [Shanell, 15-Feb-2008 ]

There's a treatment you can find at the beauty supply store called Aphogee ( I think that's how it's spelled ) its comes in a three part treatment kit, One is the main treatment it smells really bad like ammonia and, when put into the hair it hardens and when it is fully dried rinse out and put in the conditioner. It's really great for dried, dyed, and fried hair and does wonders for brittle breaking hair if you do that like once a month you should be ok. I also would suggest rubbing coconut oil into your scalp twice a weak to continue the growth of healthy curly hair.
