Do u want short, straight and layered hair?

First of all I have long, thick (very thick) natural curly hair, with a diamond shaped face. I do use a flat iron on my hair to straighten it most days. I need a huge change, I hate my thick, long, curly hair. I want something simi short, straight, and layered.
I was thinking of a shoulder length chop cut, with swept bangs. Any suggestions or comments so to something that would look better, or if this cut would be bad or whatever? [Amanda, 26-Sep-2008]

Keep your hair up to shoulder level and add bangs at front. The curly hair looks more beautiful when you are adding layers in it. Apart from the flat iron you can also use some hair products for straightening your hair.
