Thin hair is a common problem and affects a majority of people. The first thing I would recommend is that you be sure that you are using a volumizing shampoo. In market many products are available for root lift that can give your thin hair a fuller look by making the hair stand out more. Mostly all such products are simply sprayed on the hair at the scalp, and a blow dryer is used to dry them so that the hair stands up away from the scalp.

Thin Hair Causes

Various conditions lead to thin hair. Thin Hair or Sparsely spaced hair are caused by the following reasons -

  • illness (usually typhoid or malaria),
  • emotionally stress,
  • rough handling of hair,
  • excessive brushing and
  • due to heredity conditions.
  • excessive use of hair styling products

Solutions to Thin hair and remedies

Give your hair a warm treatment. Use warm almond, olive or coconut oil. Rub it with cotton wool, leave overnight and then shampoo the hair next morning.

Include a lot of proteins in your diet. Vitamin A (capsules) helps increase hair growth.

Blood circulation and hair growth improves if the hair is given a steam bath.

"Include a lot of proteins in your diet. Vitamin A (capsules) helps increase hair growth." If I use these, won't the hair on the rest of my body grow faster along with the hair on my head? I just want a thicker head of hair, not thicker hair all over.
