I am going to be out of the country for a while and I won't be able to see my colorist. I don't want to use another colorist. What should i do to hide my gray? [Nancy 16-Mar-2008]
Before you leave, invest in a good-quality temporary rinse and color crayon. Use the rinse to after the color slightly. Gray hair usually picks up rinse colors very well. This is merely temporary and will wash and wear away. Also use a color crayon for quick fixes. You can even stow it in your bag or purse.

Dying your hair can be a way to hide your gray, but remember you need to achieve a natural look. You can add lowlights to match your hair color or use highlights so the gray blends in with you hair's natural color. Silver highlights can be added to compliment and hide gray as well.
