How to Weave Hair
Hair weaving can be a very delicate and difficult task. It takes time and patience to get the weave done correctly so that it holds in place and looks natural. With practice and determination, hair weaves can be an amazing attribute to add to a resume or to impress your friends with.
Step by Step Instructions on Weaving Hair
The process of weaving hair is not difficult, it is just exacting. To begin, one should corn row the hair so that the rows are going horizontally across the head. This is so the hair lines up properly and appears to be one with the natural hair. Then once the hair is corn rowed nicely, the process of attaching the new hair to the current hair can begin.
By using a "C" style threaded needle, sew the hair extensions onto the current hair, being sure that the hair lines up nicely in front. A great weave can be disastrous if the weave is done off center. Once the front piece is centered, the sewing process can continue. Feel free to use as many stitches as needed to secure the hair in place. Once the first row is done, continue to the next row until all rows are complete.
Once the hair is woven in, there are a number of things that one can do to make the weave appear more realistic. The first of such things is to cut the weave into a new and very stylish hairstyle. This style could be something moderately short such as a bob to something much longer such as long layers. Once the haircut is achieved, dying often is next. Often times the weave hair is not the same color as the natural hair. While some prefer to dye the hair before hand, others prefer to dye it once it is in the hair so that the hair and the extensions are all the same color.
