Men in the military are required to keep their hair very short. Although they are allowed to wear pretty much any short hairstyle, there are a few different types of military haircuts that you may want to take into consideration. Keep in mind that you don't need to be in the military in order to get a military haircut!
High and Tight - The Short Buzz Haircut for Mens
 The high and tight is a variation of the buzz cut. It is generally not kept any longer than one sixteenth of an inch. One of the reasons that people other than military men get this haircut is because it is known to make the face look attractive, by putting emphasis on the cheekbones and eyes. It is one of the most common military hairstyles.
Flat-top - Another Military Hairstyle
The flattop is a hairstyle that is styled in order to make the top stand up and is done to give it a flat appearance. The rest of the hair gets shaved off. Even the area that does not get shaved off usually is kept between a half of an inch to one inch in length. It is a good choice for military men who want a slightly longer do.
