Airbrush Makeup

Airbrush makeup is a great alternative to regular make up. Airbrush make up leaves the skin looking flawless and silky smooth and has long lasting staying power. There are special foundations especially designed for airbrush application. Applying airbrush makeup requires the use of certain tools to get that look you desire. Foundations, blush and eyes shadow can all be used when applying make up using the airbrush method.

However before you start the airbrush process, you need some special equipment that will help you complete the look. If you are a first time airbrush makes up user, there are special airbrush kits that come with everything you need. The prices of an airbrush kit will usually range over 100 bucks, but it comes with everything you need and you probably won't have to buy another kit again for a few months to a few years, depending on how much you use it.

The airbrush makeup kit may include Wand, Compressor and a Hose; a hose is used to connect the wand to the compressor. Foundations can be purchased separately, please be aware that when using the airbrush method, you have to use foundations specially formulated for airbrush application. Special foundations for airbrush make up come in two forms, silicone based and water based. Silicone based make up is the best choice, and recommended by many professionals since it gives a greater finish.
