Five Minute Makeup, Face Makeup Application tips in 5 minutes
Here are the make-up tricks for the times when you have just a five minutes to put on a great face before you are due out of the door!
Five Minute Makeup
First, plan your make-up colours to complement your clothes - lipstick, blusher and eyeshadow should all be in similar sheer tones.
Makeup Short cut: you can buy 2-in-1 products that will work for cheeks and lips, or cheeks and eyes, to make life even simpler.
If you wear foundation, use the sheerest base you have. Apply it using
your fingertips or a slightly damp make-up sponge to clean and moisturized skin.
Next, outline eyes with a soft brown pencil and blend the line with an eyeshadow applicator.
One coat of mascara is sufficient. You can apply it to the top lashes only if you
like.
Defining your eyebrows immediately gives your face more impact. Use powder applied with a brush or a sharp brow pencil.
Just a touch of powder blush is all you need for a 5-minute make-up. The secret is
to sweep it on using a big blusher brush.
Take a little loose, translucent powder onto a velour puff and dab it onto the back of your hand to remove any excess. Now
press over the whole of your face to set your make-up and to prevent shine.
Translucent lipsticks that allow the texture and colour of your own lips to show through look the most
natural and are the fastest to apply. Lip-coloured shades also require less precision and so need less time to apply. Noliplining pencil is required. Voila!
