Home Remedies for Pimples

We all dread that day when our beautiful face become attacked by those little unsightly bumps that we know as pimples or zit. There are a lot of great products on the market to help you battle these pimples; however those products can come with a hefty price tag. Therefore there are a number of effective home remedies that can be used to zap those pimples with everyday items that you may already have in your household kitchen. Here are some home remedies for pimples treatment:

Home Remedies for Pimples (Blemishes)

Aspirin Mask - Aspirin contains a very effective defoliant known as BHA or beta hydroxyl acid, which this can assist in unclogging your pores and evening out pimples/blemishes. Making an aspirin mask is very simple, you take about 6-8 aspirin and mash them up while adding a few drops of hot or warm water along with aloe Vera gel or honey and mix together until you have a thick white paste. Apply the mask on your face or pimples affected area for about 10-15 minutes, the mask will usually start to fall off after the 15 minutes. Simply finish the task by washing off the remainder of the mask with warm water to reveal your beautiful skin.

Pimples Treatment with Toothpaste

Toothpaste is just not for healthy white teeth anymore. Toothpaste can also be used to treat your pimples and serves as a very good home remedy for pimples. Toothpaste comes in paste and gel forms, for best results use the paste form. Simply apply toothpaste on your pimple(s), preferably before you go to bed, so it can dry out and sink into your pores.

Egg Whites Home Remedy for Pimples

Egg whites are not only for the health nuts, but also for the people who hate pimples and want to get rid of them. Applying egg white on a pimple for at least 20 minutes is supposed to absorb all of the “dirty” agents out of the skin to have you pimple free in no time.

Honey is so sweet, and sweet enough to have your face looking fresh because of its fighting power to kill harmful bacteria that causes pimples.

A raw potato peel will do the trick for reducing your pimples. Take a raw potato peel and grate it so that you are just left with the peel, than rub the peel throughout your entire face to reduce pimple scars and deplete blemishes on the skin.

Another great alternative to getting rid of pimples using natural home remedies is to apply fresh lime juice that is mixed with a glass of boiled milk and use as a face wash.

Pimples Treatment with Proper Diet and Skin Care

However pimples can be caused by many factors such as oily skin, poor diet, unclean skin and many more, the best way to avoid pimples or treat pimples is to drink plenty of water, follow a clean diet that consists of nutritious fruits, vegetables and healthy oil as well as limit your sweet intake.

Exercise and getting plenty of rest should also do the trick as well as cleaning your face daily with exfoliants, natural creams and moisturizers to give your face that radiant and shine that it is supposed to have.
