Prom Makeup Tips
Prom is a very special occasion and it should be treated as one. Whether you do it yourself or have it done by a beautician, there are a number of things that you should know about when it comes to doing your prom makeup.
6 Tips for Prom Make up
1. Make sure that the shades of makeup that you use complement your prom dress. This is especially important to keep in mind for eye shadow. You would not want to choose a color that clashes with your prom dress.
2. Don't go too heavy on the eyeliner. Although using a little bit of eyeliner can draw a lot of emphasis to your eyes, you don't want to go too heavy on it for prom. A thin line of eyeliner can look wonderful, but you don't want to look like a raccoon on prom night.
3. Choose a very light foundation, powder and blush. You really don't want your prom makeup to look as though it has been caked on.
4. Don't forget to carry a small clutch with you to prom. Carry eyeliner, eye shadow, lip stick or gloss and any other makeup you have used. You never know when you may need to reapply your prom makeup.
5. Choose a very natural shade of lipstick or lip gloss. It does not need to match your prom dress, not does it need to be overly dramatic. You will probably want to go very natural when it comes to all of your prom makeup.
6. Don't stray too far from makeup shades and techniques you would normally wear. Although prom is a special occasion, you will still want to look like yourself. This is the most important thing that you should remember when it comes to prom makeup.
