Contact dermatitis is a skin condition, which often has to be seen by a dermatologist. Another condition is psoriasis. Itchy scalp is a skin condition, as well.     You are so right about itchy scalp being caused by certain hair products. Especially products with high concentration of alcohol. Hair extensions and braids can cause dry or itchy scalps as well because of all the products we use to maintain the hair.
