The first time that Victoria's Secret held a fashion show was in 1995. The first time that it was held, it took place in Times Square and received over a million online viewers. However, it was not until 2001 when the Victoria's Secret fashion show was aired on TV, through the ABC network.
In 2004, Victoria's Secret did not hold a fashion show. However, it did have a tour across America of The Angels, which consisted of models Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Gisele Bunduchen and Heidi Klum. They visited cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Los Vegas.
Aside from the modeling of lingerie during the Victoria's Secret fashion show, the most important thing about the event is the musical vocalists that perform at it each year. To date, talented artists that include Justin Timberlake, the Spice Girls, Ricky Martin, Seal, Sting, Mary J. Blige, William, Destiny's Child, Andrea Bocelli, Eve and Chris Botti have performed. One of the things that most people enjoy about the Victoria's Secret fashion show is that things are kept incredibly clean, with both the modeling and music.
Only Victoria's Secret knows what is in store for the future with its fashion shows. However, it is definitely safe to say that we can only expect great things from VS.
