Although chicken pox goes through stages and you can't hasten this cycle, you can apply some remedies to lessen the itchiness and irritation cause by the blisters. You can use these natural remedies at home:
Oatmeal - simply boil two cups of oatmeal with two liters of water for fifteen minutes. Use this solution to wash or bathe the blisters. It helps in relieving the itch and irritation.
Brown Vinegar - add half cup of brown vinegar to warm water and use as bath for the patient. This is one of the well known and most effective way of relieving itch and irritation.
Baking Soda - add to one glass of warm water and sponge all over the body. Let it dry to relieve itch and irritation.
Vitamin E Oil - simply apply it directly to the infected skin, make sure that you don't use to much pressure. It can help the skin recover so that the blister won't leave any scars or markings.
Pea Water - the water into which fresh peas are cooked can be use as bath water.
Honey - apply pure honey directly to the skin. It is believed to heal the blisters within three days.
Herbal tea - teas have antibacterial properties that can help dries out the blisters faster.
Carrots and Coriander - cook 100 grams of carrots and 60 grams of coriander. Discard the residue and take the soup once everyday.
