Gastritis is a condition wherein the lining of the stomach is swelling and irritated. It happens when the white blood cells move into the stomach lining due to some injury, infections and other causes like:

There are lots of natural remedies for gastritis that is readily available in your kitchen and gardens. You can try the following home remedies:

Carom seeds - this is one effective gastritis remedy. Simply take one teaspoon of carom seeds with a pinch of salt.

Ginger - it helps a lot in promoting good digestion thus it is a good remedy for gastritis. Just chew fresh ginger root before every meal.

Coconut water - an excellent home remedy for gastritis. It normalizes stomach condition in a short period of time.

Spinach and carrot juice - this is a great combination in treating gastritis. Mix 300 ml of carrot juice and 200ml of spinach juice and drink everyday.

Potato juice - another useful home remedy for gastritis. Drink half cup of fresh potato juice before every meal.

Licorice root tea - drinking warm licorice root tea three times daily is proven beneficial in treating gastritis.
