Halitosis is the unpleasant smell comes out from the mouth when a person is breathing. There are different mouth wash and specialized toothpaste available to treat bad breath immediately. There are other remedies available that are natural and more effective and are readily available in your own home.

Mint leaves - this is the simplest relieve to bad breath. It can freshen up your breath in an instant.

Baking Soda - you can use these as gargle; simply mix warm water. Or you may use it to clean your tongue by rubbing it directly.

Sunflower seed - just chew after ever meal and drink a glass of water.

Hot tea - tea has antibacterial properties that can help in treating bad breath. Just make sure that you drink unsweetened variety.

Yogurt - eat yogurt for six weeks straight and you can definitely conquer bad breath.

Avocado - it moisturizes and conditions the mouth. It can also removed putrefaction in the intestine which is one of the main sources of bad breath.

Guava - it serves as wonderful tonic for your mouth. It contains malic, phosphoric acid, tannic and oxalic, it also has calcium, manganese and oxalate, and these are important minerals for your teeth and gums.

Parsley - simply mix with warm water and clove and use it as mouth wash.

Water - drinking plenty of water can help in preventing bad breath.

Fenugreek - one of the best herbal remedies for bad breath. Simply boil and stiff one teaspoon of fenugreek seed to one liter on water. You must take this daily to correct the condition.

If you already have bad breath or you want to avoid having bad breath, then you should eat healthy and balance meal everyday. Avoid refined carbohydrates like white sugar, candies and desserts. Brush your teeth twice daily; floss to remove small particles on the teeth.
