You can achieve a colourful style by braiding the hair with rick-rack to give a young fresh hairstyle.
Steps to make Rick Rack Braids Hairstyle
- Braid the front of the hair as described for crown braids. Tie three strands of ric-rack together at one end and pin to the covered band of one braid.
- Take a section of hair and divide it into three strands, aligning one piece of rick rack with each strand.
- Begin braiding, taking the right strand over the centre strand, the left over the centre, right over the centre and so on.
- Continue braiding down to the ends of the hair and tie the rick-rack to fasten.
