Simple Pleat Hairstyling

Curly hair that is neatly pleated or rolled gives a sophisticated style. The front is left full to soften the effect.

Steps to make Simple Pleat Hairstyle

  1. Divide off a section of hair at the front an dleave it free. Smooth with a little serum. Take the remaining hair into one hand, as if you were going to make a ponytail.
  2. Twist the handful of hair tightly from left to right.
  3. When the twist is taut, turn the hair upwards, to form a pleat. Use your other hand to help smooth the pleat and at the same time neaten the top by tucking in the ends.
  4. Secure the pleat with hair scross or pins. Take the reserved front section, bring it back and secure it at the top of the pleat, allowing the ends to fall free.
