Homemade Camomile Rinse
Camomile has a gentle, lightening effect on hair and is good for sun-streaking blonde and light brown hair. However it takes several applications and a good deal of time to produce the desired effect. The advantage of Camomile over chemical bleach is that it never gives a brassy or yellow tone. Best for blonde hair, it will also gently lighten red.
How to make Homemade Camomile Rinse
To make Camomile rinse for use after each shampoo, place 30 ml of dried Camomile flowers in 600 ml of boiling water. Simmer for 15 minutes, strain, and cool before use.
