There are other dangers to using moth balls against moths. Moth balls can be toxic to both children and pets. If you have young children, or pets, moth balls could pose more harm than good.

In many cases, practical methods like regular cleaning and sanitation may be all that's needed to handle moths. There are also many sprays and insecticides available for fighting moths. These can be quite effective if used. This may often require continued use to resolve your moth problem.
