Heated Rollers are available in sets and normally comprise a selection of around 20 small, medium and large rollers, with colour-coded clips to match.
The speed at which the rollers heat up varies, depending on the type of roller. PTC element rollers heat up fastest because they have an element inside each roller, and the heat is transferred directly from base to rollers. Wax-filled rollers take longer about 15 minutes, but they retain their temperature over a longer period.
Heated rollers are solid and heat up to a controlled setting. Use to give instant lift and bounce to a style. Ideal after blow-drying and before putting hair up as it gives additional body.
Use Heated Rollers for quick sets, to give curl and body. This is ideal for preparing long hair for dressing.
