Serums, glossers, polishes and shine sprays are made from oils or silicons, which improve shine and softness by forming a microscopic film on the surface of the hair.
Serums contain substances designed to smooth the cuticle, encouraging the tiny scales to lie flat and thus reflect the light and make the hair appear shiny. Use these products to improve the feel of the hair, to combat static, add shine and gloss and temporarily repair split ends.
Do not use too much Serums or you will make your hair greasy.
Serum is a particularly effective de-frizzer for naturally curly waves and afro hair. It also helps dry hair look more healthy and shiny.
