Cross tattoos are also combined with other elements and designs of tattoo, to signify their meaning. For example, a butterfly with a cross tattoo may represent the resurrection of Christ; on the other hand popular verses from the bible can be displayed with the cross. Cross tattoos can be simple or dramatic, some people put a cross tattoo across their heart, because some believe the heart is where the soul is. Men tend to put cross tattoos on their chest, lower abdomen, their back and shoulders. Most of the time the cross tattoos are designed so beautifully and take up a large area of the body.
A lot of people choose to get a cross tattoo with popular scriptures from the bible, so they can feel safe and comfort when sporting their godly tattoo. Once they have a cross on their bodies, they know that they are protected from all harm. The Jewish religion does not believe in tattooing your body. However some religions are not opposed to them and an avid follower of a Christ can show his most valuable appreciation and respect for his "god".
